1. What PakBirds Is (and Is Not)

PakBirds is an online platform that lets bird owners, breeders, and sellers post advertisements, and lets buyers browse and contact them directly. We are not a party to any transaction. We do not sell birds ourselves, do not take payment for any bird, do not verify the health or condition of any bird, and do not guarantee that any listing, price, or seller claim is accurate.

2. Deal at Your Own Risk

Any purchase, sale, payment, delivery, or agreement you make is entirely your own responsibility. PakBirds is not responsible for and accepts no liability for any loss, fraud, scam, disease, dispute, injury, or damage arising from a transaction or interaction between users. Please use your own judgement and take the precautions below.

3. How to Verify a Seller Is Trustworthy

Before you pay for or collect any bird, we strongly recommend at least one (ideally all) of the following:

• Visit the farm or seller in person. See the bird, its living conditions, and the seller's setup with your own eyes before agreeing to anything.
• Make a live video call. If you cannot visit, ask the seller for a live WhatsApp/video call showing the actual bird (not just photos), so you can confirm it exists and matches the listing.
• Check the seller's reviews and ratings. Open the seller's store/profile on PakBirds and read what other buyers have said about them and their past sales.
• Ask around. Ask other bird keepers, local clubs, or breeders in your area whether they know the seller and can vouch for them.
• Look for the Verified badge. A verified seller has provided extra identity/details to us, but this is still not a guarantee — always verify independently.

4. Safe Payment & Meeting Tips

• Prefer to inspect and pay in person, hand to hand, after you have seen the bird.
• Meet in a safe, public place during daytime when possible, or take someone with you.
• Be cautious of deals that seem too cheap, sellers who demand full advance payment before you have verified anything, or anyone rushing you to pay quickly.
• Never share your bank OTP, PIN, or password with anyone. No genuine seller needs these.
• Keep a record of your conversation and any payment receipts.

5. For Sellers

• Describe your bird honestly — accurate age, breed, health and price build trust and repeat buyers.
• Confirm payment has actually cleared before handing over or shipping a bird.
• Only list birds you legally own and are legally allowed to sell (see our Wildlife Law Policy).

6. Report Suspicious Activity

If you come across a listing or seller that looks fraudulent, illegal, or unsafe, please use the "Report this listing" button on the ad, or contact us. Your reports help keep the community safe.
